Bajaj Introduces Pulsar Maniacs and The Avenger Gods Riding Communities

Pulsar Maniacs community registrationWhile the world is busy hailing about International Yoga Day today, Bajaj Auto is celebrating the day in its own way. It’s being said that today is World Motorcycle Day also and to mark the occasion in an unique way the iconic Indian two-wheeler maker is introducing two riding communities for its Pulsar and Avenger sub-brands named Pulsar Maniacs & The Avenger Gods (TAG).

These riding communities will initially be operational in 7 cities across the country, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad & Kolkata, bringing Pulsar RS200 owners and Avenger owners under different flags to make them experience riding communities organized and backed by Bajaj Auto.

The Pulsar Maniacs will be an exclusive riding community for Pulsar RS 200 owners & fans, while The Avenger Gods (TAG) is a riding club dedicated to the entire range of Avengers. The highlights of both the riding communities will be professionally organized rides, supervised by expert riders from the company and complete with safety gears and service & emergency support. There will be no joining fee to be part of both these communities. The riding communities for the respective sub-brands will cover the entire range of group riding activities from weekly breakfast rides to long distance rides under the patronage of Bajaj Auto.

Both the communities will see a series of events in line with the positioning of the respective brands. To begin with, Pulsar Maniacs will start weekly breakfast rides and soon is supposed to get into overnight & long distance rides.Avenger Gods Community registration

On the other hand, The Avenger Gods (TAG) will also follow the same footsteps which means the community will begin with weekly breakfast rides besides offering long distance ride format which in Bajaj’s language is being called FLG rides (Feel Like God) – a perfect avenue for the mature rider seeking ‘liberation’ from day to day life. The first FLG ride will flag off on 23rd June where a total of 15 Avenger riders will ride to Tirthan valley from Chandigarh and back for a total of 700 kms. This experience will be summarized in 3 nights 4 days stay with activities such as Star gazing, Trout fishing, Forest trail, Bonfire & Barbeque with some local tribal music.

Commenting on the launch of the communities, Mr. Sumeet Narang , VP Marketing, Bajaj Auto said, “The group riding phenomena is taking off enormously, however a large section of customers stay away from it because of safety considerations. As the market leader in the sports segment, we are committed to keep abreast of customer trends. We have now put in place all the required infrastructure to enable Pulsar RS 200 and Avenger customers to experience the fun of group riding in a safe and professional way”.

While this concept of weekend Dhaba rides sound quite a bit old-school and show box, the long distance rides can help Bajaj to strengthen the bedrocks of its brand theme and stand out as a pure biking brand in itself.

Key highlights of the communities:

  1. Professionally supervised rides in 7 Metros – Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad & Kolkata
  2. No joining fee
  3. Service support
  4. Safety gears for the riders
  5. Emergency support
  6. Digital interface on the company website
